• Building on the work of the Alzheimer`s Association and the recommendations of the Alzheimer`s Study Group, an independent, bipartisan panel created to evaluate the government`s current efforts to combat the disease, NAPA will lead to the creation of a national strategic plan to overcome the Alzheimer`s disease epidemic


• According to the Alzheimers Association, NAPA which was actually passed with bipartisan congressional support and signed into law by President Obama on January 4, 2011 will create a national strategic plan to address the Alzheimers crisis and also will coordinate Alzheimers disease efforts across the government


• The Alzheimers Association is in the process of collecting feedback from interested Americans so they can provide input into The National Alzheimers Project Act (NAPA)
